NUCO TYPE-SSC INTUMESCENT COLLAR SYSTEM - 6IN

Self-Seal® Type-SSC is a prefabricated firestop collar featuring a galvanized metal housing with an intumescent silicone ring, designed to seal combustible pipe penetrations in fire-rated walls and floors. When exposed to temperatures above 150°C (300°F), the silicone rapidly expands, forming a patented graphite-reinforced char to fill voids created by melting pipes. Available for 1½" to 4" trade-sized pipes (38–102 mm), its low-profile design accommodates tight spaces while maintaining fire integrity under positive pressure conditions.
